Manchester Evening News: "Kloot has a hoot with Christopher Eccleston"
How-do.co.uk: "I Am Kloot colours Northern Skies with Mocha":
Cult Manchester band I Am Kloot has released the video for latest single Northern Skies. The piece was shot by Liverpool-based production outfit Mocha and features former Doctor Who actor Christopher Eccleston.
The video (seen below [above here]), which was shot over three days in North Wales and Manchester, was released exclusively through NME on Friday, before being seeded across numerous music and video sharing sites over the weekend.
Mocha wrote, produced and directed the video after working with the band on their 2005 offering Over My Shoulder (the second video below for fans of the outfit [see original article, link above]).
The firm's commercial director Owen Cotterell told How-Do that Mocha was approached directly by the band's management following the success of the previous shoot.
He noted: "That had been a heavily animated piece whereas we wanted the treatment for this track to be more organic and film-based."
Northern Skies is taken from I Am Kloot's forthcoming album 'Sky At Night', which is produced by Elbow's Guy Garvey and on sale 5 July.
Mocha has previously worked with artists including Moco, Jack Cooper, Fierce Girl, Half Cousin and former Atomic Kitten, Jenny Frost.
