So this was September

After a rather spectacular summer, there are still some news while waiting for the next première.

On the 7th 'Hillsborough' was released on DVD, and we've looked at it here and included some stills. You can also read what we think about the docu-drama in this post, which is part of our reviewing of Chris Eccleston's films (all reviews and information can be accessed via the Filmography link above).

The most noticeable event must be Eccleston's Ninth Doctor getting one of the four Special Edition 'Doctor Who Magazine' covers, duly drawing attention to the highest ranking Series 1 story in their poll. See the cover, and discover the positions of all episodes from 2005 in the Top 200 together with other highlights from the issue in Chiclit's post.

While 'G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra' will be released on DVD already this year, just in time for the season, there are already a couple things 'Amelia', see its main post. The latest news is that a special screening of 'Amelia' is opening Doha Tribeca Film Festival. The film is being released in the US on the 23rd, and subsequent premières around the world are planned well into the next year.
